Land at Miami International Airport (MIA), grab your bag, and we're at the curb. We monitor your flight from the moment you book, so a late landing means a late pickup — at no extra charge. Average drive from MIA to MSC Cruises's Terminal AA is 15–20 minutes on a calm day; on Saturday cruise mornings, plan for an extra 10–15 minutes of buffer.

Plan your timing.
- When you check in through the MSC for Me app, MSC Cruises gives you an arrival time slot for the terminal. Plan to reach Terminal AA 15–30 minutes before that slot: from MIA that means leaving the curb about 37 minutes ahead, or 52 on a Saturday morning.
- Flying in on sailing day? Pick a flight that lands at least 3–4 hours before all-aboard time. If your flight lands late or the weather looks doubtful, arriving in Miami the day before is the safer call — and we pick up from hotels too.
- From MIA the drive is short, so the real variable isn't the highway — it's the queue of cars into the port on Saturdays between 10am and noon. That's where a driver who knows the terminal saves you time.
The drive.
MIA and PortMiami are about 8–9 miles apart. The usual route runs east on the Dolphin Expressway (SR-836), onto I-395 / the MacArthur Causeway and over Port Boulevard onto the port island. That's 15–20 min in normal traffic.
MSC Cruises tips.
MSC's Terminal AA opened in April 2025 and is home to ships including MSC World America and MSC Seaside. MSC prints your terminal on your cruise ticket. If you're one of the MSC Yacht Club guests on MSC Cruises, tell us when you book — you have priority boarding and we'll time your arrival to it. Keep your boarding pass from the MSC for Me app and your passport handy as you step out of the vehicle — it's the first thing the terminal asks for.
